May 5, 2023 - I'm getting angry over a stupid post about freelancers

 

Today I came across this post by chance. I instantly got angry because I fit into all 3 of these categories. My fingers were itching to write a couple of things to the moron. Being a freelancer and a creator of quality content is not easy. And for me, being like that is a progression from a job as an HR manager in a multinational. But what does a bored robot who can only assemble 3 parts on an assembly line for 8 hours a day know? I imagined the individual as an honest worker, a sad product of the golden generation when people were trained to be good, honest, obedient and...stupid, lacking creativity, with their heads down. What does he know about earning money, but also being flexible, free, creative... oh my... I scrolled over and then I thought... hey, every time I reacted harshly to something it was because of an old trauma. What does this reaction hide? And I set my wheels in motion. And of course I read the comments on the post - there were a lot of other bored and sad robots who approved of him, some even in indecent words. This is how society points the finger at those who step out of line...

Terchea-berchea means a frivolous person, a social parasite, a good-for-nothing person. Do I think that about myself? Is that how I should consider myself after giving up a job as a serious, productive person in society? Have I hidden such beliefs?

Wow!!! They all came out with Yes. Absolutely all of them. Yes, that's pretty much the opinion I have about myself after giving up a serious, productive job in society to become a freelancer.

I immediately replaced them with the following programs:

I am a good person

I am a productive person

I am a capable person

I have the right to live my life the way I want

I have the right to organize my time the way I want

I am in this world to enjoy all the best it has to offer

I have the right to manage my time the way I want

I have the right to enjoy life, my energy, my time, my money

I have the right to earn money working as a freelancer, content creator and blogger

I am safe to earn a lot of money as a freelancer, content creator and blogger

I have the right to work and earn money from the most suitable sources for me

I have the right to earn a lot of money from activities that I consider to be suitable for me, that give me satisfaction and pleasure

I have the right to earn money from activities that I consider creative

I retested the programs and they all came out OK, with NO.

I reread the post and smiled. I feel sorry for that poor man's ignorance. Let's move on - let's see what else we can solve :)
